About Ginna Kim-kaplan, lcsw-s

You don’t have to carry this all on your own.

I’m a Dallas-based psychotherapist specializing in trauma treatment for individuals, couples, and families. With advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 2), I take a relational approach to therapy, helping clients foster meaningful connections through improved communication, empathy, and self-awareness. My goal is to guide you (and your partner) toward a deeper understanding of yourselves and each other, creating stronger bonds and more fulfilling relationships.

please Hear me when I say:

Being here doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong.

I believe in meeting you where you are, without judgment, and walking alongside you as you navigate your journey. Whether you’re here to heal trauma, enhance your relationships, or better understand yourself, I’m committed to helping you rediscover your strength, resilience, and capacity for meaningful change.

Your story matters, and it’s my privilege to help you write the next chapter.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that every person has an innate capacity for healing, growth, and connection.

No matter how overwhelming life may feel or how deeply rooted your struggles seem, there is a part of you that holds wisdom, strength, and resilience. My role is to help you access that part, fostering self-compassion and understanding while creating a safe space for exploration and transformation.
